Developer use cases

  • I'm a seller on Ozon (Russian Amazon), and I develop some applications for inside usage. Like, forming supplies, etc. I've got sheets of barcodes stickers printed without labels, and to not confuse them, I have to scan them before applying. Not each, but at least one from every sheet. Same with supplies: supply sticker has a barcode, and absolutely no information about the supply contents. I want to make an application that'll at least tell me the barcode itself, the leftover stock, the supplies related with it, and if I scan a supply barcode - then the supply details. Or, for orders: order barcodes are just a label with a QR-code and a order number. It would be nice if I can scan and check it through my app/system. On mobile systems, it would make a great api. On desktop, it could help with developing a "qr scanner" extension, with UI like the screenshot feature in Firefox.
